Within the framework of the frontal fight against illicit drug trafficking, the dismantling of a clandestine shipyard used by Structured Organized Crime Groups, dedicated to the manufacture and repair of vessels for illicit drug trafficking, was carried out, as reported by the Strategic Operational Commander, Domingo Hernández Lárez.
Through a publication shared through his account on the social network Instagram, it is specified that the discovery occurred during patrol, intelligence and scrutinizing work, in the town of Los Jobitos, Miranda municipality, Zulia state.
Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb) seized three boats in the operation, containers where they stored 1,600 liters of fuel and other manufacturing materials used in drug trafficking.
The national government, together with the security forces, continues to carry out patrol work to protect order and the defense of the national territory, in its arduous fight against drug trafficking.
In this way, the Fanb reaffirms its commitment to the defense of the Venezuelan people and national sovereignty.
