FANB dismantled 10 Tancol structures in Zulia

Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) dismantled 10 structures of the Armed Terrorist Narcotrafficking Group of Colombia (Tancol) in the Semprún municipality, Zulia state, informed the Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez.

Through his account on the social network Twitter, Hernández Lárez specified that these structures “were used for the trafficking of drugs, explosives and fuel from Colombia.”

After the operation, the Head of Ceofanb stressed that military personnel continue to be deployed to guarantee national sovereignty “in the search, detection and destruction of any type of TANCOL structure in our territory.”

Likewise, Hernández Lárez was emphatic in stating: “Venezuela does not support any armed drug trafficking group of any nationality, they will not be able to establish themselves in our territory, any type of invader will be fought and eradicated.”

On the other hand, in another operation carried out by the FANB in the same sector, a “Colombian terrorist camp in the Semprún municipality of Zulia state was destroyed, where, in addition to logistical equipment, 6 anti-personnel military mines planted in our territory were deactivated.”

In Apure, runway number 50 of the year 2022, in the Pedro Camejo municipality, was disabled. “Our country will not be a platform for any Colombian criminal terrorist group associated with drug trafficking,” stressed Hernández Lárez.

For the Commander of Ceofanb, Venezuela is a territory of peace and therefore “our territory is sacred and must be respected, we will go where necessary to defend it.”

The FANB maintains routine and active actions in the cross-border axes of the country, with the purpose of expelling the invading groups that intend to maintain drug trafficking practices in the national territory.

These actions are carried out under the premise of completely ending the invading groups, an order issued by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, who stressed that 2022 must be the year 100% free of the Tancol throughout the country.
