The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) disabled a new aircraftbelonging to the Armed Terrorist Narcotrafficking groups of Colombia (Tancol), which tried to violate the airspace of Venezuela, when trying to enter through the state of Zulia.
Through his account on the social network Twitter, the Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Larez, explained that the plane becomes the number 31 which intends to enter the country so far in 2022.
Likewise, Hernández Lárez also highlighted that it is aircraft number 309 of the total number of disabled aircraft “for violating airspace. Venezuela will not serve as a platform for drug trafficking,” he added.
Likewise, the Head of Ceofanb also reported on the disablement of the aircraft “Sabreliner registration XB-RXG coming from Mexico bound for the Reina Beatrix airport, Aruba, changed course and illegally entered Venezuelan airspace.”
He explained that it was “disabled by the comprehensive aerospace defensive system on a clandestine runway in the state of Zulia.” she added on her Twitter account.
Seizure in parcels
On the other hand, the head of Ceofanb, Domingo Hernández Lárez also reported the seizure of cocaine during the review of a package from the DHL Express company.
“In the fight against drug trafficking, D-451 #GNB in the Edo. La Guaira, during a review of DHL EXPRESS parcels, seized more than 10.20 kg of cocaine mixed with coal, in two (02) boxes destined for the city of Conakry in the Republic of Guinea », he said.
FANB deployed: fight drug trafficking
The FANB remains deployed in the border states of the country, carrying out patrolling, scrutinizing, disabling aircraft, destroying Tancol camps, to guarantee the sovereignty and peace of the Venezuelan people.
“FANB deployed on our borders, guaranteeing national sovereignty and independence,” stressed Hernández Lárez.
The president of the Republic, Nicholas Madurourged the FANB to keep the national territory free of drug trafficking, and ordered to declare the year 2022, 100% free of the Tancol and their actions in the country.
