Fanb disables new hostile aircraft in Apure

Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb), on patrol and air-ground reconnaissance missions in the Pedro Camejo municipality of Apure state, located and disabled a hostile aircraft.

This was reported by the Fanb Operational Strategic Commander, GJ. Domingo Hernández Lárez, who explained that the aircraft was hidden in the vegetation in a gallery forest, masked with artificial mesh, adjacent to an improvised illegal runway, used as a logistics structure for Tancol groups, which constitutes a violation of our national sovereignty, says a press release from Ceofanb.

With this aircraft, 416 have been registered in total since the law for the Control for the Comprehensive Defense of Airspace came into effect in 2012 and 25 during 2025.

«Venezuela remains firm in its resolution of independence or nothing in territorial defense and in the fight against the scourge of drug trafficking. We will not be a platform for transnational criminal structures associated with organized crime,” said GJ Hernández Lárez.
