The commander of Ceofanb, Domingo Hernández Lárez, specified that it is the 31st aircraft of the year 2025 for a total of 422.
The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb) reported that after a procedure in the vicinity of the Buena Vista del Meta sector, Pedro Camejo municipality of Apure state, an aircraft was found and disabled, as part of Operation Bolivarian Shield “Independencia 200”.
The green twin-engine was hidden in a wooded area and was detected by a Quick Reaction Unit (Urra), which confirmed that it did not have a permit, visible serial numbers, or flight plan to circulate through national territory.
“With this disablement, Venezuela registers a cumulative number of 422 disabled aircraft since the enactment of the Control Law for the Comprehensive Defense of Venezuelan Airspace since 2012, in the protection of national sovereignty, adding the number of 31 aircraft during the year 2025,” Domingo Hernández Lárez, commander of Ceofanb, indicated through social networks.
The aircraft was declared hostile and disabled at the site, according to the information provided by Hernández Lárez, who reiterated the Fanb’s commitment to the fight against drug trafficking.
