A total of 42 illegal aircraft disabled the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb) through the Integral Aerospace Defense Command for violating the Control Law for the Integral Defense of the Airspace, this year 2022.
The Strategic Operational Commander of the Fanb (Ceofanb), G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez announced the balance through a publication on his official account on the social network Twitter @dhernandezlarez. «During the year 2022 the #FANB in the exercise of the Defense, Sovereignty and Integrity of the Nation has disabled 42 aircraft for violating the Control Law for the Integral Defense of the Airspace, using Aerospace Power and combat URRA through the @ CODAI_FANB in the SDT».
In another trill, the senior military official reported that during this year 2022 the Fanb managed to disable 118 clandestine airstrips “used by transnational terrorist groups as an airlift to extract illegal mining and drug trafficking through our territory.”
On the other hand, the General in Chief said that during 2022 more than 500 disused war materials were repaired and modernized “that today allow us to fulfill the mission of defending our geographical space on the border axis.”
Likewise, Hernández Lárez reported that during a Security and Strategic Defense deployment in Guasipati, Bolívar state, the Fanb located a camp of the self-styled “Tren de Guayana” with logistical materials used to sustain its illegal mining activities.
In this sense, the G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez commander of the Ceofanb affirmed that: «Urban mining predators who dismantle public facilities will be sanctioned with the full weight of the Law, for violating the well-being of citizens who deserve a life worthy of enjoyment and well-being.
