During the year 2022, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) through the Integral Aerospace Defense Command, disabled 42 aircraft for violating the Control Law for the Integral Defense of the Airspace.

The information was released by the Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez through his Twitter account @dhernandezlarez, who explained that these actions are carried out using the Aerospace Power and the Rapid Reaction Units (URRA). in the Territorial Defense System (SDT).

Likewise, complying with the 3R.NETS and to face the blockade, in 2022 the FANB repaired and modernized more than 500 disused war materials that today allow it to fulfill the mission of defending the geographical space in the border axis.

In addition, the General in Chief pointed out that in deployment in the exercise of National Sovereignty, 118 clandestine runways used by transnational terrorist groups as an airlift to extract illegal mining and drug trafficking through our territory were disabled.

Tren de Guayana camp dismantled

In another publication, the CEOFANB commander announced the dismantling of a camp of the self-proclaimed “Guayana Train” with logistical materials used to sustain its illegal mining activities.

The location was carried out in Guasipati, Bolívar state, during the deployment of Security and Strategic Defense of the FANB.
