Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) detected on the banks of the Tarra River, in Zulia, a camp of the Armed Terrorist Narcotrafficking groups of Colombia (Tancol) with 23,100 liters of jet fuel and 13,600 ammunition.
The information was released this Tuesday, through his Twitter account, by the head of the FANB’s Strategic Operational Command (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez, who indicated that military personnel remain on patrol and surveillance missions as part of the Operation Bolivarian Shield Lightning of the Catatumbo in Zulia.
“Operación Relámpago del Catatumbo in patrolling, reconnaissance and surveillance missions on the banks of the Tarra River, FANB detects TANCOL supply camp with 23,100 liters. of jet fuel type JET A-1, 13,600 ammunition 7.62x39mm and 7.62x51mm among others”, he specified.
He reiterated that “all the clandestine deposits of airplane gasoline, adjacent to the illegal runways, will be destroyed; sovereignty must be respected.”
The FANB is committed to not accepting “invading narco-terrorist groups operating in Venezuela!” said Hernández Lárez.
Likewise, in another message on the network, Hernández Lárez recalled that the Venezuelan soldiers remain deployed throughout the border axis to expel “any invading faction or group.”
“Here are the sons of BolĂvar and Chávez, cross country, throughout our cross-border axis, we will fight and expel any invading faction or group! Our homeland is respected !!!”, he stressed.
The FANB remains deployed on the cross-border axis in the exercise of national sovereignty with the aim of expelling and rendering useless all traces of narco-terrorist structures.
The Bolivarian Shield Operation Catatumbo Lightning has disabled clandestine runways and destroyed camps and explosive instruments used by the Tancol.
