staff of the Bolivarian National Armed Force (FANB) arrested two citizens and seized at least 50 cocaine wrappers in two procedures carried out in the state of Táchira, as part of the fight against drug trafficking.
One of the procedures was carried out at the El Carira Citizen Service Point (PAC) of the Táchira Comprehensive Defense Operational Zone (Zodi-Táchira). In this, a citizen with four packages of cocaine was arrested, reported the head of the FANB Strategic Command (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez.

Also in the procedure, “a cell phone was seized from the citizen; twenty US dollars ($20) and fifty thousand (50,000) Colombian pesos,” added Hernández Lárez.
Given this action, the Chief of Ceofanb confirmed that Venezuela continues “in the fight against the scourge of drugs.”
PAC Vega de Aza of the Zodi Táchira
Likewise, in another FANB operation in the Vega de Aza PAC of Zodi Táchira, and through intelligence, investigation, search and patrol work, the military carried out the red-handed arrest of a citizen and the seizure of 46 wrappers of the type finger cots cocaine, indicated the Chief of Ceofanb.

Regarding these procedures, the head of the Ceofanb, Domingo Hernández Lárez affirmed that they were placed under the order of the Public Ministry for due process.
FANB in the fight: Venezuela free of drugs
It should be noted that the FANB remains firm in its fight against drug trafficking in all its forms, for which it remains deployed throughout the national territory.
