Within the framework of the Roraima 2025 operation, members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, from the Bolívar River Combat Rapid Reaction Unit, in lake patrol, reconnaissance and surveillance missions, in the Macagua reservoir, Caroní municipality, located and destroyed 5 rafts in the Bolívar state.
The information was provided by the Strategic Operational Commander of the Fanb, GJ Domingo Antonio Hernández Lárez, who published a video, highlighting that these operations are carried out to preserve the biological diversity, fauna, flora and minerals of the territory of the Guayana region.
In this procedure, 5 sieves, 5 artisanal metal boats, 5 6-cylinder gasoline engines, 5 8-inch shells, 250 meters of 8-inch hoses for material suction, 300 liters of gasoline-type fuels, 80 square meters of carpets for gold material and 105 metal drums were seized.
The seized objects were incinerated for serving as logistical support for the depredation of the environment in illegal mining activities, prohibited by the Venezuelan State in accordance with the provisions of the Environmental Criminal Law.
The procedure was notified to the Public Ministry, as part of a series of operations carried out to preserve the biological diversity, fauna, flora and minerals of the territory of the Guayana region.
