FANB destroyed TANCOL infrastructure in Zulia

FANB officials also disabled some clandestine runways, in the midst of Operation “Cacique Manuare” in Falcón.

Officials of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) destroyed this Saturday an infrastructure in Zulia state, belonging to the Armed Terrorist Drug Trafficking Groups of Colombia (TANCOL).

Through his account on the social network Twitter, the Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB, Domingo Hernández Lárez, explained that these actions are carried out within the framework of Operation “Catatumbo Lightning”.

In the state of Falcón, for their part, FANB officials disabled some clandestine airstrips, in the middle of Operation “Cacique Manuare”.

FANB deployed in the East

The Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB also announced that Operation “Cacique Cayaurima” is being deployed on the eastern coast, in order to protect the areas from groups that generate violence associated with the TANCOL.

In this operation, a patrol of the coasts has been carried out.

«Operation Cacique Cayaurima. FANB patrols the coasts and carries out search landings to track down invading groups associated with the TANCOL, who seek to strike and capsize the free transit of vessels along the eastern coast of the country,” said Hernández Lárez.

Recently, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, ordered increased military action against the TANCOL groups, as well as a deployment in the East of the country.
