Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) destroyed on Tuesday a camp with more than seven thousand kilograms of drugs, liquid and solid chemicals and fuel belonging to the Armed Terrorist Drug Trafficking Groups of Colombia (TANCOL) in the Jesús María Semprún Municipality, in the Zulia state.
The operation was in charge of the Bolivarian Shield 2022 “Relámpago del Catatumbo” and specifically the following were destroyed: “7,530.00 Kg of Coca Base Paste, 424.00 Lts of Liquid Chemicals, 41.00 Kg of Solid Chemicals, 4,370.00 Lts of Fuel”, informed the Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB, Domingo Hernández Lárez, through his account on the social network Twitter.
In other scrutinizing and patrolling maneuvers in various areas near the borders of the national territory, FANB officials also entered the Río Chiquito sector, in the Miranda Municipality of Zulia state, and “rescue the citizen Ualid Saulieman Maase El Maaz, CI V-10.675.714, who had been held captive by irregular groups since March 25 of the current year.”
On the other hand, this Tuesday TANCOL explosive devices were also cleared on the roads of El Progreso, Las Gaviotas, La Ceiba, El Caucho, Los Corozos and Los Morrocoyes, in the Páez municipality, in Apure, detailed the Ceofanb Commander.
Hernández Lárez also highlighted that Operation Bolivarian Shield 2022 “Catatumbo Lightning” will destroy all TANCOL runways in Zulia state, where FANB operations are also continuing.
«FANB cleans up from the root, inch by inch, all the territory of Apureño, freeing it from the invading TANCOL groups who tried to seize the cross-border axis stealthily, under the coercion of the population. Traps and more booby traps,” he wrote on Twitter.
The actions of the FANB against the Tancol are part of the Operation Bolivarian Shield 2022 Vuelvan Caras, deployed in the border areas with a large contingent of military personnel, including the Bolivarian Militia, for the expulsion of Colombian terrorists from national territory.
