More than 200 booby traps were cleared by the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) in the Páez municipality of Apure state, a sector in which different sidewalks and roads built by the group of Armed Narcotrafficking Terrorists of Colombia (Tancol) were used to protect a hidden camp .
“In the framework of Operation Vuelvan Caras, the FANB clears a sector planted with more than 200 booby traps in the Páez municipality of Apure state on different paths and roads used by Colombian drug traffickers to protect hidden camps,” said the head of the Strategic Command. Operational of the FANB (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez, through Twitter.
The FANB continues “scrutinizing and locating Tancol structures in our territory covered by the forest,” reiterated the Ceofanb commander.
In this sense, he said that the FANB troops will destroy and dismantle all kinds of Tancol logistical and operational elements, such as lodgings, laboratories, warehouses and explosives used for drug trafficking activities.
“All kinds of illegal invasions with logistical or operational evidence TANCOL, in Venezuelan territory such as: accommodation, laboratories, warehouses, for drug trafficking activities and explosives will be destroyed and rendered useless,” he stressed.

For Hernández Lárez, Venezuela is a zone of peace and therefore the Bolivarian National Armed Forces will destroy and eliminate all kinds of narco-terrorist installations and invasions.
“Venezuela is not and will not be a platform or support for any country or drug faction,” he confirmed.
The actions carried out by the FANB against the Tancols are part of the Operation Bolivarian Shield 2022 Vuelvan Caras, which continues to be deployed in the border areas to expel terrorist groups and their practices from the country.
