The Operational Strategic Commander of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, Domingo Hernández Lárez, informed that an improvised camp was detected in the vicinity of the Temi River, Maroa municipality, Amazonas state, which was used by the Toncol groups.
During the procedure by the FANB troops Fiftely logistic accommodation structures, 3,200 liters of gasoline stored in 200 -liter and 1,600 liters of gasoil were detected and destroyed, in addition to five base radio equipment, two antennas of which one was directed by DIRECTV and the second Starling.
The place also collected supplies such as: a freezer, a kitchen, three freezing cavas, three hydraulic pumps, a 38 -liter gas bottle, and various materials of intention such as uniforms, ponchos, military and logistics material used by these groups.
Also, within the framework of the “Maroa 2025” operation, Hernández Lárez specified within the balance that a mixed combat urra was used in patrol and scrutiny missions, in which an R-15 rifle and a charger with 29 cartridges were rendered useless, as well as an ak-103 fixed cylinder head with 28 cartridges, a high-satellite grenade and a satellite GPS.
The FANB continues to execute patrol work to protect peace in the national territory and maintains its constant struggle against crime and drug trafficking, protecting the border areas of security and defense of the State.
