FANB destroyed 61 laboratories and disabled 41 aircraft in 2022

The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), destroyed 61 laboratories dedicated to drug processing by the Colombian Armed Drug Trafficking Terrorist groups (TANCOL) during the year 2022, in the states of Apure and Zulia, as reported by the head of the Strategic Operational Command (CEOFANB). ), G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez.

The information was released, in his account on the social network Twitter, @dhernandezlarez, “FANB deactivated and destroyed 61 laboratories on the borders of Apure and Zulia states, dedicated to the processing of cocaine hydrochloride.”

Since the end of 2021, the FANB increased its security operations throughout the national territory, especially in the border regions with the aim of combating Colombian drug trafficking groups.

Likewise, Hernández Lárez reported on the Twitter social network account, @dhernandezlarez, “FANB disabled 42 aircraft for violation of Venezuelan National Sovereignty during the year, in the 2022 Bolivarian Shield Operations.”

Since the expulsion of the Drug Control Administration (DEA) from Venezuela in 2005, seizures have increased and, in 2021, there was a record seizure of 51 tons of drugs in more than five thousand procedures.

For its part, so far in 2022, the FANB seized more than 40,000 kilograms of drugs through the deployment of various security operations in the national territory.

The Venezuelan government rejected in September that the United States include Venezuela in the list of countries that do not cooperate against drug trafficking, considering that it lacks legality.
