The head of the General Directorate of Military Counterintelligence (Dgcim), Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Granko Arteaga, explained that more than 1,200 military personnel participate in this deployment.
The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) began the deployment of a security device to guarantee the peace of the people and protect the swearing-in of the President of the Republic Nicolas Maduro on January 10.
This was reported by the head of the General Directorate of Military Counterintelligence (Dgcim), Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Granko Arteaga, who explained that more than 1,200 military personnel are participating in this deployment.
“I am counting on you to defend this country and the people, with the extraordinary civic-military-police fusion led by the chief commander, Nicolás Maduro Moros. We are going to guarantee peace, to give security to the people, we are going to guarantee that this January 10, President Maduro is sworn in and we are sworn in with him. “Let’s go together for victory!” expressed Grnko Arteaga in a video released by the FANB’s Strategic Operational Command on its Instagram account.
Likewise, he recalled that the FANB has carried out operations in recent months against mercenaries who have tried to enter our country to subvert order and attack institutions.
“We have developed operations against mercenaries, which have given fruitful results and this year will not be the exception,” he predicted while reiterating the commitment of the military institution to ensure peace and our sovereignty.
