FANB defense actions contributes to the struggle of climate change threats

The Sectorial Vice President of Defense and Sovereignty, Vladimir Padrino López, highlighted the work of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) to protect the environment “helping in the issue of illegal mining, the shelter of the hydrological basins, national parks, forest reserves, biosfera and hydraulic.”

He said that the National Defense Corps, in coordination with the Ministry of Popular Power for Ecosocialism, works to protect the environment and all reserves, as a way to contribute “against the threat of climate change, an action that is taken very seriously in the country.”

Padrino López struggled that these activities allow preserving the Amazon, which is part of the Venezuelan ecosystem.
