FANB deactivates three Tancol explosive devices in Apure

Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) deactivated this Thursday three improvised explosive devices in the Los Arenales sector of the José Antonio Páez Municipality in Apure state that were planted by the Armed Terrorist Drug Traffickers of Colombia (Tancol), reported the head of the Command Strategic Operations of the FANB, Domingo Hernández Lárez.

Through his account on the social network Twitter, Hernández Lárez indicated that the FANB officials continue their struggle to deactivate the explosives left by the Tancols.

“Our combat sappers continue to defuse TANCOL explosives. He who abandons everything to be useful to the country loses nothing and earns what he dedicates to it », he added.

In the micro of the message, the head of Ceofanb explains the search operation for the explosives: “We are in the Los Arenales sector of the José Antonio Páez Municipality in Apure state, the special explosives unit carried out a joint patrol with the 94th unit of forces special, we have located three improvised explosive devices left by Colombian narco-terrorists, which were in series activated by pressure devices with an electrical mechanism that carry a charge and detonator causing a magnitude of approximately 30 to 40 meters of radius of action, to project said shrapnel that these explosives possess. Likewise, it was reported that the URRA Monagas deactivated this Wednesday another 10 improvised explosive devices in the Arenales sector in the clearance of its assigned area, “the TANCOL terrorist evil has no limits, they will be exterminated from our territory,” said Hernández Lárez.

For their part, the explosives experts from the URRA Amazonas detected a TANCOL machine gun nest in the undergrowth in the La Capilla sector. “We will not allow the humiliation of the dignity of our sacred land!” Said the Commander of the Ceofanb.

To conclude, General Hernández Lárez emphasized that the “FANB continues to be deployed, exploring and scrutinizing the Apureño territory, deactivating and cleaning each route of the planting of TANCOL explosives. Independence or nothing!” he remarked.

These FANB actions are part of the Operation Bolivarian Shield Vuelvan Caras 2022, deployed in Apure state with a large contingent of military personnel to expel Colombian terrorists from the country and thereby neutralize terrorist actions.
