FANB continues with the disablement of Tancol runways in Zulia

In the state of Zulia, members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) disabled runways used by the group Armed Terrorists Drug Traffickers of Colombia (Tancol) to extract their drug through Venezuelan territory.

The information was released by the Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez, who, through his Twitter social network account, specified that the FANB continues to scrutinize the borders to avoid illegal actions within the National territory.

Hernández Lárez indicated that through the Operation Roraima 2022 “the fight against drug trafficking, illegal mining and human trafficking” is maintained. These actions are accomplished by constant patrol on the country’s borders to guarantee national sovereignty.

Zero tolerance for drug gangs

The Head of Ceofanb emphasized that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces will not allow the advance of criminal groups linked to drug trafficking, which destroy the national territory.

“Venezuela is a land of peace, law and justice. We will not allow indiscriminate exploitation and environmental destruction by criminal groups associated with drug trafficking and illegal mining. Operation Bolivarian Shield, Roraima 2022”, added the Head of Ceofanb.

Likewise, he reiterated that “only the State may possess and use weapons of war. We will not allow any kind of criminal paramilitary organizationassociated with drug trafficking, illegal mining and human trafficking, the violation of our National Constitution and other laws of the Republic!».

FANB maintains frontal fight against the Tancol

The FANB remains deployed in the border states of the country, carrying out patrolling, scrutinizing, disabling aircraft and destroying Tancol camps, to guarantee the sovereignty and peace of the Venezuelan people.

These actions are carried out under the instruction of the President of the Republic, Nicholas Madurowho urged the Armed Forces to keep the national territory free of drug trafficking, and ordered to declare the year 2022 100% free of the Tancol.
