The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) closed several clandestine fuel intakes in pipes belonging to the state-owned Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA), actions perpetrated by criminal gangs in the state of Anzoátegui.
This was reported on his Twitter account by the Operational Strategic Commander of the FANB (CEOFANB), Domingo Hernández Lárez, detailing that military personnel “in joint and comprehensive operations with the CSOs and the PDVSA company continued the process of closing clandestine intakes.” .
The head of the CEOFANB explained that these intakes do not allow the correct flow of the polyducts and, consequently, generate shortages.
In this regard, four clandestine fuel taps were closed to the pipeline in the indigenous population of Kashaama, in the Pedro María Freites municipality, in the eastern state.
Earlier this Monday, Hernández Lárez also reported on Twitter about the deployment of FANB officials in the state of Amazonas, with the aim of safeguarding and protecting the environment.
“All kinds of polluting structures that violate the national territorial ordering and cause the destruction of the ozone layer, the deterioration of air, water and soil quality, the production of solid waste, the impoverishment of soils, deforestation will be dismantled. , desertification, the extinction of species”, reviewed the publication.
He also added that the deployment seeks to stop “the problems associated with social deterioration, violence, the exploitation of human beings by their peers, the extinction of natural resources due to their overexploitation, the advance of certain diseases and other scourges.”
