Through his account on the social network Twitter, Hernández Lárez specified that 100 intraorganic cocaine finger cots weighing 1,460 kilograms were seized from the subject.

Hernández Lárez in recent statements stressed that “Venezuela is not a producer or consumer state of drugs and we will not allow it to be used as a bridge, these customs are not national.”
FANB active against drug trafficking
Faced with the arrests of citizens linked to drug trafficking, the Chief of Ceofanb stressed that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces remain active in the fight against this scourge.
In this sense, the military troops maintain their operations at the different border posts of the country, with the aim of ending the “micro-trafficking of drugs and narcotic and psychotropic substances.”
The FANB continues deployed throughout the national territorywith the firm objective of ending the criminal structures that try to establish themselves in the country.
It should be remembered that during 2022 the FANB deployed at least 25 thousand military personnel in the border states, with the aim of safeguarding the nation and fighting irregular groups linked to drug trafficking on the border.
