FANB arrested two citizens with two panelas of cocaine in Apure

staff of the Bolivarian National Armed Force (FANB) arrested two citizens who were transporting two panels of cocaine in San Fernando de Apure, Apure state, reported the Head of the Strategic Operational Command of the FANB (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez.

On his account on the social network Twitter, he published a message in which he stated that the arrest was carried out after patrolling by members of the FANB and OSC.

He also added that the detainees are linked to the group Armed Terrorists Drug Traffickers from Colombia (Tancol).

«In San Fernando de Apure FANB and OSC in patrol work arrest 2 citizens with 2 panels of cocaine. Two more dupes associated with TANCOL groups that will be behind bars for drug trafficking,” he said on Twitter.

The Chief of the Ceofanb reiterated that the FANB is made up of professionals who guarantee the sovereignty and security of the Venezuelan State.

“The FANB is an essentially professional institution, organized by the State, whose main mission is to guarantee the Independence, the Sovereignty of the Nation and ensure the Integrity of the geographical space through Military Defense,” said Hernández Lárez.

«Our Patriotic professionals deployed on the Apureña border, guaranteeing the Freedom and Independence of the Homeland! We are a guarantee of security and progress », he stressed.
