FANB adds 26 disabled Tancol aircraft so far in 2022

Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) disabled aircraft number 26 of this year belonging to the Terrorist Narcotrafficking groups of Colombia (Tancol), in the Pedro Camejo municipality, Apure state, with which the FANB adds 304 planes shot down since 2012 when operations against these illicit actions began.

“FANB disables Tancol aircraft in the Pedro Camejo municipality of Apure state, number 26 this year, increasing the average by 304 since 2012,” stressed the head of the FANB Strategic Operational Command (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez, to through your account on the social network Twitter.

In the same message, Hernández Lárez guaranteed that the FANB continues “guaranteeing the sovereignty and integrity of our national geographic space”, through the fight against the Tancol.

In the same way, this Sunday the Tancol plane number 25 of the year was disabled, when it landed on the illegal runway to the South of the Lake, in the state of Zulia.

“TANCOL plane No. 25 of the year is disabled when landing on illegal runway L9 in Sur del Lago, Catatumbo municipality, after being ordered by FANB fighter planes to land, for violating Venezuelan sovereign airspace,” reported the Chief. of Ceofanb through its Twitter account.

Patrols on cross-border axes

On the other hand, the FANB, in its fight against drug trafficking, continues to patrols throughout the cross-border axis of the country, with the aim of providing protection to the people.

“FANB carries out patrols throughout our cross-border axis, providing security and protection to our people, in detection and expulsion of criminal groups that are dedicated to drug trafficking and illegal mining,” said Hernández Lárez.

Likewise, the FANB patrols the eastern coasts of the country “in the search, detection and cutting of drug trafficking and smuggling activities, to provide peace and calm to the population,” added Hernández Lárez.

100% free of Tancol groups

The patrol operations, the disablement of aircraft, and the scrutiny of the country’s borders are carried out under the premise of completely eliminating the Tancol groups.

These actions are carried out under the order issued by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, who urged the FANB to declare 2022 as the year 100% free of Tancol groups.
