The Mayor of Canelones filed a complaint with the Prosecutor’s Office against the nationalist deputy Alfonso Lereté for assaulting an official of the communereported sources from the Prosecutor’s Office to The Observer.
The complaint, for apparently criminal acts, was filed this Friday afternoon by an official representing the commune who recounted his version of what happened on June 29 in which the legislator included insults and blows by the legislator.
This is added to a series of complaints made around the altercation. Both the woman and the legislator filed cross complaints for aggression in the Prosecutor’s Office, but the case is also within the orbit of the Specialized Family Court, since the woman’s complaint is included in a case of gender violence. Therefore, it is resolved in parallel processes.
