Two men were killed and two others were injured, including a minor, as a result of a shooting that occurred on La Marina Street in the Los Cocos neighborhood, in the Mariño municipality of Nueva Esparta state, local authorities reported.
The deceased were identified as Elis José Sánchez, 56 years old, and Alexander Indriago, 45 years old, while the injured people were Mireya Villarroel, 46 years old, and a minor of 15 years old who remains in stable condition.
Villarroel was admitted to the emergency room of the Luis Ortega Hospital in Porlamar with a gunshot wound to her left arm and forearm.
According to reports, the incident was motivated by old feuds between two families in the same area, after a bloody incident in which a man died, in the town of San Antonio, García municipality.
The authorities are gathering the necessary information to clarify the facts.
