Families from Cota 905 benefit from a new food house

The community of the El Paraíso parish, specifically in Cota 905, is benefiting from the Victoria Food House, recently inaugurated by the mayor of Caracas, A/J Carmen Meléndez. Around 60 families will be served, especially more than 100 girls and boys, grandparents, as well as people with disabilities, as indicated by the mayor on her account on the social network Instagram.

“A project that was developed during this year and that adds to the transformation of the sector, where we have recovered and delivered housing, roads and different spaces,” said Meléndez. He also congratulated “the leadership of this territory, which has worked together with that of Santa Rosalía, for this new achievement, through which more than 100 girls and boys, grandparents, as well as people with disabilities will be especially attended to.”

“We are still on the streets, working alongside the people, and following the instructions of our President @nicolasmaduro,” he stressed. The Food Houses were created by the national government, as a social policy that seeks to give maximum access to food to the most vulnerable population.

It is worth noting that, in this same town, the mayor pointed out that thanks to the winning project of this communal circuit in the First National Popular Consultation, they will now have a Simoncito, a care room for grandmothers and grandfathers, a health module and a communal pharmacy.
