False positives: remains of four victims are delivered during hearing before the JEP in Antioquia

On the second day of the Hearing for Recognition of Truth and Responsibility of the subcase Antiochin it Case 03 (about false positives) that develops in Grenadeeastern Antioquia, the remains of four victims of forced disappearance in eastern Antioquia after being falsely presented as combat casualties.

The remains correspond to Heider Alberto Velasquez, Jairo Andrés Álzate, Juan Carlos Castaño Tobón (symbolic delivery; delivery of the body is scheduled for December 12) and José Mauricio Meneses Zapata (symbolic delivery; the delivery of the body took place on December 3).

According to the JEP schedule, the second part of the hearing will take place in Medellin the days December 15, 16 and 17and in this space the events attributed to the other battalions will be addressed, which occurred mainly in Medellín, the Aburrá Valley, the North and the West of Antioquia, between 2004 and 2007.
