Officials from the Bolivarian National Guard detained a woman who claimed to be an official at the Central Bank of Venezuela, according to military sources.
This person was identified as Jazmín Josefina Aguilar de Gerdler, who pretended to be Venezuelan territory coordinator and BCV area supervisor, according to a report from the National Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Command (Conas) number 31.
Aguilar’s arrest occurred near the Buenaventura Shopping Center, Araure (Portuguesa). Aguilar used to request $1,000 from victims in exchange for approving alleged agricultural financing.
