Falero signed several agreements with social institutions in Lavalleja

The Minister of Transport and Public Works, José Luis Falero, was in the department of Lavalleja signing social agreements with various local actors.

This was the case of the José P. Varela Social Democratic Center, where through a contribution made by the Ministry of 1.7 million pesos, its facilities will be reformed and expanded. In this institution, sports and social activities, artistic exhibitions and horse racing are carried out.

In the same town, the Minister of Transport and Public Works carried out the signing of a social agreement with the José P. Varela Baby Soccer League in order to improve and adapt its closed gym. For this purpose, the MTOP will contribute the sum of $2.4 million pesos. On the occasion Falero commented that this club was prioritized because it gives “hospitality to other sports”. It is “a baby soccer league open to society, which considers the needs of the youngest but also provides and opens its doors to other sports disciplines.”

On the other hand, also in the Department of Lavalleja, the Ministry signed an agreement with the Pirarajá National Soccer Club. which includes a contribution of 5 million pesos to replace the upper deck, reform bathrooms and kitchen. In return, the club will lend its facilities to public education institutions in the area.
