In the Juan Pablo II School, in Rivera, the agreement will allow the restoration of the multipurpose room and the hygienic services. For this, the portfolio will contribute 2.8 million pesos, non-refundable, and the school, 1.3 million pesos. As compensation, the latter must allow the use of the room for 15 hours per week to high school 2 and schools 120 and 145 for 10 years.
Falero pointed out that, after the joint contribution of both institutions, the infrastructure will be remodeled, which will provide greater well-being to the children who attend there and to the students of the schools and the public high school in the area. These works will benefit a total of some 1,600 children and adolescents in the Rivera Chico area.
Then, in the department of Artigas, the authorities inaugurated a multipurpose room at the Club Atlético Independencia, built after an agreement signed on December 11, 2020. The investment was 6.1 million pesos, of which the Secretary of State contributed 2 ..5 million pesos and the sports institution 3.6 million pesos.
