Officials from the Criminal Investigation Division of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) managed to capture a false veterinarian after the death of a pet during surgery in the state of Bolívar.
According to what was learned, the procedure was carried out by agents of the Criminal Investigation Division, Puerto Ordaz base, in the state of Bolívar.
According to the PNB report, the subject was arrested in the Población Upata sector, Piar municipality, for the crime of alleged usurpation of functions as a veterinary doctor.
In the investigations and complaints received anonymously, it was determined that the arrested person, who was not identified, had illegally practiced the profession by performing surgical procedures without having the corresponding accreditation, which would have caused the death of a domestic animal during an intervention.
The detainee was placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry for the pertinent legal proceedings.
