The Secretary of Commerce, Matías Tombolini, announced this Tuesday afternoon the implementation of a basket of seasonal fruits and vegetables within the “Fair Prices” program, which will be available from this Wednesday and It will be valid throughout March in the AMBA region.
This agreement “is very important because the sector showed a very high volatility (…) and allows to moderate these increases”, in addition to granting “order and predictability at the table of the Argentines”, Tombolini said in a presentation to the press.
The agreed basket, which It will be valid from March 1 to March 31.is made up of seven relevant products for the average consumer and at convenient prices: potato, tomato, lettuce, apple, onion and Ecuadorian banana and subtropical banana.
