If the national elections were held this Sunday, 39% of Uruguayans would vote for the Broad Front, 28% for the National Party, 8% for the Colorado Party and another 8% for the Cabildo Abierto party; 3% would lean towards the Independent Party and another 3% for “other parties”, according to a Factum voting intention survey, presented this Thursday in VTV News (TVV). In addition, 4% would vote blank and the remaining 7% did not define their vote.

Compared to the survey conducted in November 2021, the results remain stable. The slight movements between 1% and 2% “are expected in public opinion studies,” according to Factum.

While the Broad Front maintains the same results as in the last national elections, the variations occur among the parties that make up the government coalition: the National Party is 1% below the results in the 2019 elections, Cabildo Abierto 3% below and the Colorado Party 4% below. While the Independent Party is 2% above.

The sampling of the survey was random, 800 people over 18 years of age, both from rural and urban areas, were consulted between June 3 and 13. The method was online and telephone.
