Someone passes in front of a camera and a few minutes later is stopped by a 911 patrol, this is not a fictional story, little by little Paraguay joins the big cities that use the facial recognition system attached to the database of the National Police allowing the identification through alerts of people who are under arrest warrants or even lost citizens.
The Ministry of the Interior, thanks to the granting of a Subsidy with the Universal Services Fund by CONATEL, presents a modern security project in the city of Horqueta, department of Concepción. It consists of a Comprehensive Video Surveillance System integrated into the 911 Security and Emergency Center, with high-resolution IP-type cameras installed in the city.
Among the functionalities of this system we can mention that, with surveillance monitoring, the entry of people previously identified as criminals is prevented, thanks to the interconnection that it has with the National Police Database. Providing tools for the search and tracking of an objective, frequency of appearance, proximity to other suspects, instantly after being identified audiovisually.
TSV del Paraguay is the company that has the exclusive representation of the developer of the facial recognition system that is the most modern and effective at an international level.
The key benefits of this system is that it provides PRIVACY, registering only the faces found in the database, with significant precision over other systems of this type. The speed is instantaneous, immediately processing crowds, being flexible and scalable.
The effective and efficient resilience that it has when operating in places with low lighting, long distances, capturing faces even with face masks, balaclavas, and narrow viewing angles. The technological differentiators that it possesses allow it to recognize faces with less than 50% of the face exposed, and simultaneously capture multiple faces.
