“He’s not my narco, he’s your narco.” What a level of debate at this time in Bolivia! Photos and videos appear of people accused of links to drug trafficking in relation to politicians and, far from causing fear and motivating investigations, the answers come with new photographs and more accusations. The situation that has been reached is too serious and it is intended to relativize. The Public Ministry should investigate with transparency. Otherwise, save yourself who can!
Regarding investigations, neither the president of Bolivia nor his ministers have said anything yet about the serious accusation against the vice president of the Movement Towards Socialism, Gerardo García, referring to the fact that he signed a letter in which he thanked the economic contribution of an alleged drug trafficker. According to deputy Rolando Cuéllar, he gave evidence to the president. In exchange, only silence, as if nothing had happened. These are situations that should not be minimized.
And that Moors and Christians do not think that by accusing themselves they get rid of suspicion. If drug trafficking is involved in the politics of all colors, it means that the country has already hit rock bottom.
If the news linked to the tentacles of drug trafficking is summarized, it is frightening to see the scope and volume of them. The problem is that this scourge is embedded in the social fabric and that the citizen’s cry is no longer enough to put a stop to it. It is enough to see what is happening in Central American countries to envision the dark horizon to come.
