FA senators summoned Bustillo to provide information on the FTA

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Francisco Bustillo, will be present at the Senate International Affairs Committee after a summons from the legislators of the Broad Front (FA), to report on the formal negotiations that the government began with China for the treaty of free trade (FTA).

The chancellor must be present from 5:00 p.m. Where the opposition parliamentarians will seek to know what are the “risks and benefits” that a possible FTA with China may imply.

In addition, they will also ask about Uruguay’s roadmap and what are the objectives that the government will have during the pro tempore presidency of Mercosur.
