The Eyeife Festival will hold its ninth edition from December 11 to 13 at its usual venue, Fábrica de Arte Cubano (FAC), with a program that brings together Cuban and Spanish DJs, dance groups and special collaborations.
Your first day will be dedicated to theory. From 10am on Thursday, December 11, Nave 3 of FAC will host the conferences that the event has conceived to share knowledge about electronic music and other areas that are essential today for creators such as personal branding and digital strategy.
Victor Cervantes, Rafa FergomCharlie Zuma and Tropical Mystic will give the conferences, designed to reaffirm the meaning of Eyeife, which beyond being a music festival has been consolidated precisely by addressing various areas and not just the musical presentation itself. The theoretical space will close with a DJ showcase.
On December 12 and 13, they will host the Eyeife 2025 musical experience, which includes the awarding of the winners of their contest, the results of which were announced at the end of October.
The winners of their first three places will be part of the musical opening of the event, sharing the stage with the Ballet Rakatán, the Steel Band del Cobre and the union of the Ultrahavana and Warapo projects in the concept: Ultrawarapo.
The Eyeife concert nights that will take over warehouses 1, 3 and 4 of FAC will also feature performances by established DJs from the Cuban scene such as Lejardi, Jigüe, Madame Butterfly, Thalai, Slashfeel, MARTT & NEO, LVSS!!, Nemexi; winners of previous editions of the contest such as INSIKE, Boynay, Mr. Ford and Yongolailan and Tropical Mystic and Dj Trapela will arrive from Spain.
Added to that lineup are special collaborations for the event. The Malpaso Dance Company and the Rakatán Ballet will present performances and the “La Wawa” project led by Issac Delgado Jr. will join DJ Reitt in “La Wawa Electrónica.”
The Eyeife Festival created in 2016 by the late singer and producer Suylen Milanés It has become the most important space for Cuban electronic music due to its ability to show the coexistence that can exist between these styles and genres with Cuban folklore.
At the same time, Eyeife is a kind of umbrella in which not only is the best of electronic creation in the country disseminated on the scene each year, but it rewards and supports new talents, provides training options to the community of artists and professionals in the sector, while developing each year an edition of Eyeife Women dedicated to women in that area of musical creation and the industry in general.
