Workers who have not yet moved the amount of BRL 1,000 referring to the extraordinary withdrawal from the Severance Indemnity Fund for Length of Service (FGTS) can request the amount up to today (15).
The application must be made through the FGTS application, available for Android and iOS mobile phones and devices. According to Caixa, around R$ 9.2 billion in resources from the extraordinary withdrawal had not been handled by workers until the beginning of the month.
The withdrawals started on the day April 20thfollowing a calendar that takes into account the month of birth of the citizen.
Caixa debited the workers’ FGTS account and automatically credited the resources to Caixa Tem’s digital social account for everyone. Thus, the money became available for withdrawal. If it has not been done automatically, the withdrawal can be requested until today??
Through the Caixa Tem account, it is possible to pay slips and use the virtual debit card to pay in stores, websites or applications, in addition to shopping in supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies and other establishments paying with the QR code in the machines.
The amount can also be transferred to other Caixa bank accounts or to another bank. It is still possible to carry out transactions through Pix, withdraw cash from Caixa’s self-service terminals and lottery outlets.
If the amounts have been credited to the worker’s digital social savings account and this account is not operated until todaythe funds will be returned to the FGTS account, duly corrected.
