When the police raided the scene, they found one of the men sitting at the computer and, next to him, a bag with a 38-caliber revolver in it. There, in an apartment in the Bella Vista neighborhood, a a center where two men sexually exploited several women. The Justice charged them at the end of October for repeated crimes of trafficking in persons in the form of sexual exploitation and a crime of internal trafficking of weapons and ammunition. They must be preventively imprisoned for 150 days while the investigation continues.
As reported by the Prosecutor’s Office this Thursday, the women were captured by them and deceived into prostitution. Although they tried to convince them to enter this activity, they lied about how much they were going to earn and ended up charging them a commission per client, for the use of facilities and even charged them fines for no-shows and late arrivals.
The young women were recruited through web pages where there were job advertisements. When they called to consult or met to see the terms, they told them that they were actually looking for girls to prostitute themselves and that they could earn $4,000 a day and between $60,000 and $100,000 a month. Then they ended up charging them “passes”. Every time a girl deals with a client, they had to pay them $500. If they were late or absent, the cost was between $500 and $1000.
If they had to go to work outside the apartment, such as in hotels, they would charge them $500 and a plus to leave the place and pay for their transportation.
In addition, the defendants wrote on networks and forums to make clients believe that the apartment in Bella Vista belonged to a group of friends who lived there. They did not show that it was actually an organization that sexually exploited them.
The photos were taken on a set that the defendants had installed in the same apartment. There they had three rooms with double beds and a place to change and get ready to receive clients.
The prosecution assumes that they could have come to employ minors, because it emerges from the wiretaps that the accused considered “hiring younger girls.”
