The Vega. The twenty-sixth edition of Expo Vega 2022 was inaugurated yesterday with a keynote address by the Minister of Tourism David Collado, who announced investments of 650 million pesos for this province.
In connection with its motto this year: “La Vega: Live the Experience in the Capital of Ecotourism.” The fair organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Production of La Vega, an entity founded 114 years ago, is dedicated to ecotourism, highlighting its attractions, tourism and economic potential to boost the sector.
Minister David Collado, who delivered the main words of the opening ceremony, explained that said investment in different works seeks to strengthen the development of the sector in that destination in the northern region.
“From the Ministry of Tourism we will spare no effort to guarantee the definitive takeoff of tourism in this beautiful province,” said the official.
