Santiago. The Chamber of Commerce and Production of Santiago will hold the thirty-fifth version of Expo Cibao, this year with a call to promote a balance between economy and sustainability.
The multisectoral commercial exhibition will take place from Wednesday, September 28 to Sunday, October 2, in the Central Park of Santiago, with the motto: “Towards sustainability”with which it seeks to meet the needs of current generations without compromising opportunities for future generations.
Carlos Iglesias, president of the Chamber of Commerce and Production, reported that with this they intend to offer guidelines and strategies that promote the balance between growth and the economy, and can be incorporated in an integral way as sustainable business strategies.
He said that, as a legacy of the pandemic, they will have the virtual fair, so the fair will be dual, detailing that exhibitors will have physical and virtual modules simultaneously.
“Virtuality allows companies to reach the public globally with minimal investment, measurable results, brand recognition, minimal human resources and global reach,” he said.
Oscar Schwarzbartl, president of the organizing committee, reported that there will be more than 160 exhibitors distributed in more than 300 modules, and that in addition to the exhibition, the program includes conferences, panels, talks, dissertations on sustainability, product launches, entertainment, raffles, among other attractions.
He reported that on Friday the 30th, they will have the Expo Summit 2022, a high-level space to discuss issues related to the sustainability of companies, which has been prepared by the Chamber’s Business Training Center (FOREM). We will have artistic presentations, entertainment, product launches and raffles for the attending public.
