A loud noise recorded at 6:28 in the afternoon last Thursday caused a great scare among passers-by, neighbors and merchants on the second block of Rivero Street, in Cercado de Arequipa, believing that it was the explosion of a gas cylinder; However, it was not an accident, but a planned attack that the agents of the Divincri Kidnapping unit are investigating to whom it was directed.
A security camera located at the intersection of Rivero and San José streets points directly to the entrance to property No. 203, where there are ophthalmological offices and legal studies. The images recorded at 6:26 hours the admission of a man of thin build and dressed in a black sweatshirt, t-shirt and cap.
EXPLOSION IN OFFICE

During the preliminary proceedings, the occupants of the offices indicated that they had not been victims of any threat during the hours and days prior to the attack. The detectives also did not receive any complaint that could reinforce the hypothesis of a case of extortion, so they are still investigating who the attack was directed towards, which, fortunately, did not cause harm to the occupants or passers-by.
