Explosion is recorded in the Urbana building in Obarrio; there are more than 20 injured, confirms Firefighters to Radio Panama

On the morning of this Tuesday, November 1, an explosion was reported at around 7:24 am in the Urbana building, located in Obarrio.

Preliminary reports detail damages in several neighboring apartments as a result of the shock wave generated due to the incident.

According to information revealed by Major Ángel Delgado, director of Related Calamities of the Meritorious Fire Department (BCBRP) on Radio Panama, more than 20 injuries have already been reported.

“The closure perimeter has been extended from Vía España, Vía Brasil and Calle 50,” he said.
