“Today we were able to enter the place to carry out an expert opinion. more thorough and better appreciate the evidence and the effect of the blast wave in the place,” the spokesman for the National Fire Department, Pablo Benítez, told Telemundo.
“What was seen reaffirms the accidental hypothesis linked to an explosion of pipeline gas. That is what we are handling at the moment, but many more things remain in the investigation, such as where the leak was, in which places the gas accumulated, and what gave the activation energy to that instantaneous combustion”, he added.
The task will continue this week and will be complemented with technical reports from other experts, and testimonies that will be collected from those who lived in the building located in Leyenda Patria e Hidalgo.
