SANTO DOMINGO.- The Dajabón Fire Department investigates the origin of a strong explosion that occurred in a pizzeria located in Ruddy Square between Beller Street and Marcelo Carrasco where an employee suffered burns.
The employee Yugeidy Altagracia Martínez Sánchez, who was inside the establishment when the explosion occurred, has first and second degree burns on her face and hands.
The head of the firefighters, Diomedes García, said that after receiving information about the explosion, they responded quickly and managed to put out the fire.
“We saw that an explosion occurred in which an employee suffered 2-degree burns so far, who was taken to a health center in this city,” said Diomedes García, who also indicated that the explosion is being investigated to determine its origin.
