Expired Clave Social cards will be renewed for the year 2023

From April 17 to 28, the Ministry of Social Development (MIDES), together with Banco Nacional, will carry out a replacement session for Clave Social Cards expired for the year 2023 in the provinces of Chiriquí, Bocas del Toro, Veraguas and the Comarca Ngäbe Bugle.

The renewal of expired cards is for the beneficiaries of the Conditional Cash Transfer Programs (PTMC): Red de Oportunidades, 120 a los 65 and Ángel Guardian.

From April 17 to 21, MIDES will renew Clave Social Cards in the provinces of Chiriquí and Bocas del Toro. While from April 24 to 28 the renewal of cards will be in the province of Veraguas and the Comarca Ngäbe Buglé.

In total, MIDES expects to deliver 26,707 cards to low-income Panamanians.

The places and dates of the delivery of the cards can be consulted in the official accounts of MIDES.

All beneficiaries whose card expires in 2023 must renew their cards to receive the second transfer that is scheduled from June 5 to 16, 2023.

To receive the new cards, beneficiaries must present their valid identity card. Legal representatives, duly registered with MIDES, must present their identity card and that of the beneficiary. Both documents must be current.

During 2023, MIDES has successfully carried out card replacement days, which has allowed thousands of beneficiaries to receive their conditional cash transfers.

The CCTPs benefit more than 192 thousand Panamanians from vulnerable populations throughout the country, with quarterly disbursements that amount to 56.3 million balboas.
