The CEO of the Dominican firm Harvest Trading Cap, (MA) Jairo González assured that the adaptation of the traditional markets to an investment model through the new technologies Blockchain and FinTech, which are the trends that are dominating globally and locally.
As part of the celebration of Smart Dominican: Tech Talk Event 2022 Organized each year by the prestigious Mercado Magazine, the expert in international financial markets highlighted the advances in financial investment that the world has experienced.
“It is very important to know that FinTechs provide a world of investment, without the need to own a traditional company,” explained González.
During his presentation entitled “Generating resources through new Blockchain and FinTech technologies” he reviewed the evolution of financial assets, from the origin of money to new digital assets, such as cryptocurrencies and NFTs.
“Money has had a constant evolution over time. People have stopped using cash and now we enter the Blockchain and FinTech technology. That gives us a new way to generate resources”, González stated during his participation.
He clarified that during the Covid 19 pandemic, international financial markets collapsed. Such is the case of the index. NASDAQ made up of high-tech companies such as Apple, Microsoft and Amazon that made historical lows and then managed to recover after the increasing use of users, causing confidence among investors.
THE HARVEST TRADING CAP FINTECH AND BLOCKCHAIN ECOSYSTEM
The CEO of the Harvest business group will launch its own Fintech and Blockchain ecosystem, where all the necessary technological platforms converge so that users from the Dominican Republic, the Caribbean, Central America and the rest of the world can invest, manage and monetize their investments.
“We decided to create our own Fintech and Blockchain ecosystem that allows Dominicans to grow. These platforms will be interconnected with each other and investors will be able to safely monetize the profits acquired.”
He also said that the company created the first dominican study of music with NFT technology, and that it will become a music player that will compete with the most popular music streaming platforms.
The event that seeks to promote knowledge and the impact of technology on society worldwide, was attended by leading experts in new technologies, cybersecurity, business, artificial intelligence, FinTech, among other interesting topics.
The activity also served to analyze the current financial Dominican landscape and its contrast with the economies of the region, seeking viable improvements in line with global financial trends, with a view to creating specialized business opportunities in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence in business, financial technologies (FinTech), smart cities among other commercial items.
