The Expert Commission and the Technical Admissibility Committee of the new constituent process will begin to function this Monday in the former National Congress.
The Expert Commission will begin its first session at 12:00 noon. Its function is to draft a draft that will serve as the basis for the Constitutional Council (the third body of the process, which will be made up of elected people).

In the first session, the Expert Commission will elect its board of directors, made up of a presidency and a vice-presidency; and the presidencies of the four subcommittees: Political system, constitutional reform and form of State; Judicial function and autonomous bodies; Principles, civil and political rights; and Economic, social, cultural and environmental rights.
Admissibility Technical Committee
The Admissibility Technical Committee will have its first session at 4:00 p.m. this Monday. Its function is to safeguard the institutional bases established by the political parties in the Agreement for Chile.
Specifically, the Committee will be in charge of resolving the requirements that are filed against those proposals for regulations approved by the Expert Commission or by the Constitutional Council that contravene the institutional bases.
