The inaugural VIP event will begin at 5:00 pm complying with biosafety measures with limited capacity of people.

Sprague Art will donate 50% of all original painting sales to benefit the CAPTA Program and 10% of the sale of the reproductions will support the Foundation with psychological support for the students. The ‘Women of Panama’ collection of paintings shows the history, customs and culture of Panamanian women doing everyday things in the market, at lottery sales and at pollera dances. The composition in her paintings with rhythmic elements demonstrates a coordinated display of her brooding, in which the dress and the profile of the ladies are highlighted by the lights in the foreground of her works. The paintings use oil and acrylic techniques.

“Sprague Art is proud to work in partnership with Fundación Calicanto, such a valuable organization that meets the needs of women in Panama. I consider the skirt to be the most beautiful dress in the world. This collection pays tribute to the beauty and culture of Panamanian women ”, affirmed the historical and cultural painter, Al Sprague.

“We are pleased with this partnership with Sprague Art because we share the mission of empowering women. We are grateful for the contribution that this event will generate, which will impact the CAPTA program. At the foundation, we believe that by training women at social risk with vocational and entrepreneurial skills, we are also changing the life of a family, and consequently, of a community ”, stated the director of Fundación Calicanto, Gabriela Valencia.

The event will be free and open to the public, but you must reserve your space through the link www.panamaart.com/registration and email [email protected] .
