The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, received the President of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, Umaro Sissoco Embaló, at the Casa Amarilla. Both authorities have scheduled a working meeting to strengthen bilateral relations.
Sissoco Embaló arrived in the country this Sunday through the Simón Bolívar International Airport, in Maiquetía, La Guaira state, with the purpose of consolidating bilateral relations and cooperation between both nations.
It is worth noting that between Venezuela and the African country ties of brotherhood and cooperation have been established, and proof of this is Embaló’s visit to the Caribbean nation. There are at least 22 cooperation agreements between the two peoples.
Last April, it was 17 years since Venezuela and Guinea-Bissau They established diplomatic relations, in which comprehensive and mixed cooperation agreements have been signed, in sectors such as agriculture, health, education, energy, communication, security and defense.
